The ICS Stacey Nicholas Office of Outreach, Access, and Inclusion (OAI) invites applications for a Learning Mentor position for its Tutoring Program. Learning Mentors provide tutoring and mentoring to ICS undergraduate students in lower-division courses.

About OAI

The Stacey Nicholas Office of Outreach, Access and Inclusion’s (OAI) mission is to recruit, retain, and graduate talented undergraduate and graduate students from historically excluded populations who are currently underrepresented in The Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences (ICS). OAI applies an intersectional lens to the design of its programs and resources, aiming to support students who are most underrepresented in information and computer sciences. We actively work to bolster diversity, equity, and a culture of inclusive excellence among ICS students, faculty, and staff.

What you'll do (responsibilities)

We're looking for undergraduate students who enjoy teaching and mentoring fellow students. We invite students to join us in building and iterating upon OAI's Tutoring Program, with the aim of strengthening our culture of inclusive excellence within ICS.
